A complaint was lodged against 25-year-old Dhan Bahadur Lohar of Meringden Rural Municipality-2, Santhakra on June 2 on the charge of repeatedly raping a 14-year-old girl on May 28 and 29. The girl has been examined at the district hospital on June 2.

Youth arrested on charge of raping a teen girl in Taplejung
Taplejung police arrested Dhan Bahadur Lwahar, a 25-year-old resident of Santhakra, Meringden rural municipality-2 of Taplejung on the charge of raping a 14-year-old girl on May 28. According to the police, Lwahar was arrested while they were searching for him since he was absconding after the incident.
