Elderly father arrested on charge of attempting to rape his daughter

Police arrested a 63-year-old father on June 9, on the charge of attempting to rape his 40-year-old daughter. The victim had lodged a complaint against the accused at the Area Police Office, Belchautara on June 7 alleging that the accused had tried to rape her while she was sleeping. According to police, the accused suffered head injuries as a result of the victim's retaliation.
