Employees of Nepalgunj Medical College padlocked the office of the managing director of the college, administration and accounting department saying that they have not received salary and allowance. Employees of Nepalgunj Medical College under Lord Buddha Educational Academy have been protesting for the past four days.

The agitating employees complained that the college administration has not paid salaries and allowances to most of the employees and health workers for the last three to four months. The service of Medical College Teaching Hospital Nepalgunj and Kohalpur has been affected due to the agitation of the employees. College employees are protesting on a daily basis.
