ANNFSU (Revolutionary) stages a demonstration at Maitighar in Kathmandu on July 25 demanding justice for Nirmala Pant, who was murdered after being raped. They accused the government of not being able to find the killer even after three years of the incident. Similarly, the protesting students said that the constitution should be amended and those who committed rape and murder should be given the death penalty. Nirmala's body was found lying in a sugarcane field near her house on July 25. According to the postmortem report, Nirmala was strangled to death after being raped.
