Locals of Pokhariya Municipality in Parsa have been agitated over the failure of the municipality in using the budget allocated for health, education, employment resulting in the freezing of the budget allocated for the Municipality. Janata Samajwadi Party leader Nijamuddin Samani is leading a picketing program against the municipality for the past three days putting forward five points demands. They have been protesting at Pokhariya hospital against the incapability of the Municipality. They have also been demanding transparency into the financial matters of the municipality.
