The Melamchi Concern Committee of Sindhupalchowk picketed the office of Melamchi Municipality. The concerned committee stated that the agitation had to take place as the local government did not show interest even after 47 days of floods in Melamchi. Sagar Kumar Shrestha, an activist of the Melamchi Rehabilitation Campaign, said that the agitation was started due to the indifference of the local government.
