Students studying on the campus of the Midwestern University padlocked the Jaljala Multipurpose Campus of the Rolpa district indefinitely with the 36-point demand of the student organization working for university reform including the local eight-point demand. They started an agitation demanding various reforms in the Midwestern University and its affiliated campuses.

The 36 points are related to the centre including the management of thematic associate professors and necessary staff. While the eight local demands include the distribution of scholarships and refund of fees taken during the period of Corona.
