Five party alliance of Congress, Maoist, Unified Socialist, Janata Samajwadi Party (JASAPA) and Rashtriya Janamorcha padlocked the Kailali Gauriganga municipal office claiming that the municipality showed no interest in addressing their 6-point- memorandum. The five-party alliance submitted the memorandum to the municipality on August 21, which demanded the amendment of municipal teacher's working procedure, publishing the account of royalties, removal of employees by forming a committee for contract employees, maintenance of the subject of the school management committee as per the need of the school, the appointment of the teachers who have been working on private resources for a long time.
