A 35-year-old woman, a resident of Mahottari, who was found unconscious near her home beside the road, lost her life during the treatment in Janakpur Provincial hospital, her family suspects that she was raped.

According to the family of the victim,  two men in Apache Bike took her from home on September 29 from Mahottari, Bhangaha Municipality-2, at 1 am and left her home in the middle of the road around 3-4 am. When her family found her unconscious, they took her to the local Manaki Polyclinic, from where she was referred to a hospital for treatment. She died while she was being taken to the hospital for treatment.

The victim's neighbors claimed that the girl sustained few injuries on her body. According to the police, the exact conclusion could only come after the postmortem, and then it would be known if she is raped or not.

Bipin Mandal, 24, of Bhangha Municipality-5, Sitapur and Manoj Yadav, 42, of Kshireshwornath Municipality-3, Parsa, Dhanusha, has been arrested on the charge f raping and murdering a 35-year-old women in Mahottari.
