The relatives of the deceased in a bus accident at Darebhir in Dailekh blocked Dailekh-Surkhet road since the morning on October 18 demanding compensation for the lives lost. The demonstrators burnt tires on the road that obstructed the movement of passengers who were returning back to work after Dashain. The bus travelling to Kalikot from Surkhet met with accident at Darebhir on October 16. One had died and almost a dozen were left injured in the accident.
