A 25-year-old woman filed two separate cases on October 19: one for marital rape on July 12 against her 27-year-old husband, and the other for attempting to murder her by pushing from the roof on July 13 against the husband, 55-year-old father-in-law, and 25-year-old brother-in-law. After recovering from her injury, she filed both cases at the District Police Office-Nawalparasi (East). The victim's medical test was done on October 15 at Bharatpur District Hospital. According to the police, an additional investigation is underway.
