Police arrested Ram Bilash Yadav, a local youth on the charge of physically assaulting Sema Devi Chamar, a 53-year-old Dalit woman of  Siraha Kalyanpur Municipality-10, over witchcraft allegations. According to the police, the accused assaulted the victim, accusing her of witchcraft due to personal issues. The accused was arrested on the basis of the complaint lodged in the case of accusation of witchcraft, physical assault and inhumane behaviour.
