Janata Samajbadi Party (Jasapa) Dalit Mukti Committee and Jasapa Nepal Shilpi Province national Committee staged a demonstration in Kathmandu demanding to take action against those involved in Bhim Bahadur Bishwakarma's murder in Chitwan, Bharatpur. Dr Baburam Bhattarai was also present at the demonstration. The demonstrators chanted slogans for the abolishment of Dalit discrimination. 

Bhim Bahadur Bishwakarma, a resident of Chitwan, Bharatpur-4, was beaten to death over the dispute when he demanded to worship in the Durga Temple as being a Dalit on October 14.
