The metropolitan committee of Janata Samajwadi Party staged a demonstration on October 28 in Birgunj demanding to repeal the charge on Toofan Ansari, ward chairperson of Birgunj metropoiltan-13. The protestors condemned police force and DSP of Parsa district, Bel Bahadur Pandey for filing the case on crime against public justice   to the chairperson due to political pressure and personal enmity. 

Police filed similar case to chairperson and other perpetrators  charging him of helping to hide the body and remove the proof in the suspicious death of an Indian lady. She  had come  last week to stay her in sister's house  at Jagarnathpur rural municipality.  The protestors submitted a memorandum to Homeminister through  District Administration Office, Parsa demanding to repeal charge against the chairperson and  investigating the incident  as well punishing the perpetrators. The chairperson has absconded after arrest warrant was issued against him.
