Students affiliated with the Janamat Party physically assaulted Baiju Sal, headmaster of Fakir Chand Higher Secondary School, Barkurwa in Raghunathpur in Sabila Municipality of Dhanusa District. The mob beat the headmaster with their slippers and smeared him with black soot on October 29. The students have been protesting for five days demanding five points. Their demands are students should have regular reading, management of teachers, bills for various fees, students of class 11 and 12 should get books, materials in the name of the school should be kept in the school, large gathering of stakeholders for school improvement and other issues.
