Police arrests man on the charge of raping elderly woman in Ramechhap

Police on November 5 arrested 41-year-old Krishna Bikas of Suryapura Rural Municipality-8 in Rupandehi currently residing in Khandadevi Rural Municipality-1 of Ramechhap on the charge of raping a 63-year-old woman.
The elderly victim had sustained bleeding after being raped by Bikas on November 3. The victim was taken to Kathmandu for treatment after she could not be treated at village on November 4. The victim cited the rape as the reason behind the bleeding to the doctor.
Police arrested the accused based on the same information, informed DSP Nawaraj Dhungana of DPO.
