Police arrested 23-year-old Jaya Kishan Rokaya and 21-year-old Jibis Nepali from Chayanath Rara municipality-5, on November 8 on the charge of physically assaulting and attempting to rape a 28-year-old woman. According to the police, the victim was physically assaulted and then the accused attempted the rape on the victim on evening of November 7. The complaint was lodged on November 8. According to the victim, accused attempted rape by tearing the clothes she was wearing and punched her in her chest and looted her ornaments. 

According to DSP Bhattarai, though the case was lodged as a attempted rape but seeing the nature of the incident and the scene it is understood as a assault.
