Law practitioners staged a symbolic demonstration in the high court, Pokhara, Baglung, demanding the resignation of Cholendra Shamsher Jabara, chief justice. They had protested by tying a black bandage claiming that the Chief Justice was immersed in controversy and corruption. 

Lawyers including senior advocates Padmanath Sharma and Krishna Prasad Sharma also participated in the sit-in. Accountancy practitioners also joined his movement. The bar also plans to hold sit-ins at the court premises on Monday and Tuesday.
