Hum Bahadur Thapa, the 42-year-old resident of Biruwa rural municipality-7 Surung, attacked his wife 40 years old Mimaya Thapa with an axe on the afternoon of November 15. The victim sustained injuries on the left shoulder and back and is in serious condition. She is being treated at Primary Health Center in Waling. Police mentioned that they are yet to uncover the reason behind attacking his own wife using an axe.
