Manahari: Health workers and employees of Manahari Hospital in Manahari Rural Municipality-7 have agitated against the Rural municipality.

Nineteen health workers and cleaners, including two doctors working at the hospital, have been agitated after health workers and janitors who risked their lives during the Covid-19 pandemic were not provided risk allowance.

Medical workers Anjan Jung Thapa and Rebecca Sunam, along with their families, have staged agitation after health workers and staff members were not given risk allowance. The staff meeting held on November 25 has decided to work wearking black band until the allowance is received, to hold sit-in in the rural municipality on November 28, to suspend covid vaccination, to postpone regular reporting, and to boycott the training organized by the municipality for health workers on November 25, 26 and 27.
