Local representatives burnt the effigy of Lal Kishor Sah, Mayor of Janakpurdham claiming that there has been no sanitation in the Janakpurdham sub-metropolitan area even during the "Sita Ram Vivah Panchami" festival.
Ward Chairman of Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan Ward No. 7, Janakiram Sah, said that the mayor did not take any initiative to remove the garbage even after they have been informing him regarding the sanitation a month ago.
