Police arrested four people on the charge of murdering Suman Thapa, a 20-year-old man of Nuwakot Panchakanya rural municipality-3, Rahutar. According to the police, the victim used to work as a bus conductor and his dead body was recovered from Nuwakot Shivapuri rural municipality-1, Talakhu-1 on December 6.

The victim's family had protested in the area all day on November 7 demanding the arrest of the person involved in the murder. Deputy Superintendent of Police Rupak Khadka of the District Police Office informed that an investigation has been started into the incident.
