The locals of Fatuwa Bijayapur have been demonstrating for some days complaining about the alleged irregularities done by the chief administrative officer and coordinator of the education division at the municipality. They have blamed the municipal administration for not providing the details of expenditure in developmental and other activities of the municipality despite asking them. 

The team led by Bindeshor Yadav, Central Committee Member of People Socialist Party had demanded information about expenditure in nearly 75 different thematic areas using right to information. However, the municipality hasn't provided any information even after 7 months despite Yadav following up on the case frequently. 

Before this, the team led by Maoist Leader Surendra Yadav had demonstrated in front of the municipal office mentioning irregularities in the education budget. He complained that the police kept him and his brother in custody for 4 hours while asking for information on the expenditure of the education budget. 

However, the mayor of the municipality cancelled these claims and said, "It's easy to blame without proof. Proving these charges is not easy as there are no irregularities in the municipality."
