Relatives and local representatives staged a demonstration on December 20 in Rautahat Bijayapur after a motorcyclist Khedu Chaudhary of Phatuwa Bijayapur-11 also a local leader of the CPN died in a tripper accident on December 19. After his death, the body has to be sent to the victim's family for postmortem. Instead, the locals allege that the Chief of Area Police Office Bijaypur and Inspector of Police Bishnu Bishwakarma did not do so.

The victim's family alleged that Inspector Bishwakarma rushed the body to the District Hospital Gaur for postmortem after the incident. Hundreds of villagers along with the victim's family had been protesting in Bijaypur since December 20 morning and pelted stones at the police office at 11 in the morning.

According to Police Inspector Bishwakarma, two policemen were injured and three rounds of tear gas were fired to control the situation. Demonstrater Mukti Patel's head is injured after police charged batons on him. Protesters are now staging sit-ins by blocking the road in front of the police office. Kanti Devi Mahato ,Deputy Mayor of Fatuwa Bijaypur,  is leading the sit-in.Rautahat Police Chief and SP Binod Ghimire said that action would be taken as per the rules as the tipper driver involved in the accident has been arrested.

The motorcycle (Ba 30 Pa 8115) was hit by a tipper (Na 8 Kha 4202) of Google Construction Services at 8.30 pm on December 19. The motorcyclist Chaudhary died on the spot in the accident. The tipper driver had fled immediately after the accident. He was arrested by the police on December 20.
