The teachers on contract padlocked the service commission office of Rajshree Janak University after the university opened the vacancy for Associate Professor.  They padlocked the office of the chairperson of the commission and account section of the university. 

The President of Paper Course Contract Organization, Dilip Yadav condemned this decision of the university and blamed the university for disregarding the contribution of contract teachers. "We have been working in this university since its inception. Many teachers have also exceeded the age limit. The service commission didn't consider this factor. The registrar, V.C, chairperson, and the members of the service commission had given words to address the demands but the university published vacancy at once. We are forced to padlock as no mark is kept to value our experience in the institution.", said Yadav.

Yadav also blamed the university commission for opening the vacancy of 21 seats only and favourably allocating 5 seats pre-hand at the central office. He also informed that the vacancy is called for those subjects which are not taught currently in the university. The university has opened a vacancy for Associate Professor in Geography but that subject is not taught. The agitated contract teachers also condemned the university commission for not opening enough vacancies in the subjects that are currently being taught in the university. 

The Rajshree Janak University opened the vacancy for 21 Associate Professors on December 20, in pervasive subjects that include public health, computer application, English, economics, statistics, mathematics, management, computer engineering, geography, haematology etc. It has also opened 13 numbers of vacancy for staff ranging from Technical Officer to Lab Boy.
