Complaint registered against accused of attempted rape in Siraha

A complaint was lodged against Haridev Jhakrait Yadav of Kalyanpur Municipality-7 at the Area Police Office, Mirchaiya on December 20 on the charge of attempting to rape a 38-year-old woman on December 18. The victim said that she had lodged a complaint at the Area Police Office, Mirchaiya on the same day of the incident. DSP Hari Bahadur Wali of Area Police Office Mirchaiya said that a complaint has been registered against the accused and the investigation is underway as the accused is absconding.
