The locals from Aurahi rural municipality-3  of Siraha demonstrated at the rural municipality office on December 24 against the arrest of a local farmer. The group of farmers from ward number 3 of the rural municipality had taken approximately 200 sacs of wheat stored at the go-down of primary health center on December 21 by themselves condemning the delay and fraud in the distribution of wheat seeds by the employees of the rural municipality. Police arrested a local, Mithilesh Yadav based on the complaint lodged by the rural municipality at District Administrative Office. The locals padlocked the rural municipality office demanding this release without any conditions.
