The Janmat Party that has been agitating for farmers' staged a torch rally at Garuda in Rautahat. The Janmat Party Rautahat has declared a general strike in Rautahat on December 29 and on the eve of it, a torch rally was held on December 28. About two dozen cadres participated in the torch rally held in Garuda under the leadership of Janmat Party District Chairman Rameshwar Rai Yadav.
