Police have arrested Pariman Tamang, 22, of Kispang Village Municipality-3 on January 27 on the charge of raping a 12-year-old girl.

According to Inspector Janardan Ghimire of the District Police Office, Tamang was arrested from his house after the victim's family lodged a complaint at the District Police Office alleging that he had raped the girl on January 26. According to Inspector Ghimire, the relatives of the victim lodged a written complaint against the accused at the District Police Office on January 28. The girl was examined at Trishuli Hospital on January 27.
