Police arrested Dipendra Yamfu Rai, a 35-year-old man of Makalu rural municipality- 5, on April 16, on the charge of sexually assaulting a 32-year-old woman. According to the police,  police arrested the accused from Khandbari Municipality-1 on the basis of complaint lodged by the victim's side on April 5, claiming that the Rai sexually assaulted the victim on April 4.  The victim underwent a medical examination at District hospital.
