ANNSFU and National Youth Association affiliated with CPN-UML staged a demonstration on June 21, in Bharatpur against the price hike in petroleum products, the SPP agreement, and the lack of fertilizers. The demonstrators obstructed the highway and burnt the effigy of the finance minister and prime minister. The demonstrators displayed the placards to revoke price hikes in petroleum products, control inflation, provide enough fertilizers to the farmers, penalty for rapists, revoke the SPP agreement and publish the CCTV footage of the finance ministry.
