Rastriya Prajatantra Party Staged an hour-long sit-in in the Agricultural Knowledge center on June 27, demanding to provide fertilizers for farmers in Lamjung. The demonstrators alleged that a lack of fertilizers existed each year and this year too so they demanded fertilizers and seeds to be provided to the farmers immediately, responsible officials who fail to supply fertilizers on time to be punished, and programs to be launched for the development of agriculture by improving the import-oriented economy and increasing national production and income.

 The demonstrators further added that the government should provide land to the squatters, low-interest agricultural loans, and provide agricultural equipment as grants. They further added that farmers should be provided fair prices and market for their grains, fruits, vegetables, milk, and meat.
