A struggle committee formed by the parents of school children staged a demonstration o July 2, in Mornag alleging that private schools were charging high fees. The demonstrators alleged that the school changed the book every year and made them buy books from certain stationery which was an economic burden for the parents. Mayor of Birgunj Rajeshman Singh said that the education committee would be completed in a few days and the actual fee would be determined after the committee's formation.
