Police arrested 60-year-old Indra Bahadur Basnet of Barahachhetra-3, on the charge of raping an 8-year-old minor girl while she was out to graze her goats. According to the victim, the accused raped her multiple times threatening her not to disclose the rape incident to anyone. The accused raped the victim four times and on May 28, the victim was raped for the last time. 

According to the victim's father, the incident came into light, only after the victim's health check-up when she had urinary problems and she was unable to ride her bicycle to school.
