Cadres and leaders of Nepali Congress padlocked the office of Golanjor rural municipality on July 21 which has been affecting service recipients. After the rural municipality did not extend the term of 22 employees saying that they were found to be weak in their performance, Nepali Congress's cadres and leaders padlocked and picketed the office.
Shankar Baral, chairman of the rural municipality, said that the demonstrators padlocked the office without any reason. He said that was necessary to discuss with the demonstrated parties to solve the problem. Due to the padlock, the service recipients complained that they were unable to finish their work.
