Police have arrested Shyamlal Choudhary, a 50-year-old, teacher from Star Summit school located in Rapti Rural Municipality-5, Dang on the charge of sexually abusing a student. He was arrested by the police on 25 July, on the charge of abusing a five-year-old girl student studying in the same school.

The incident of abuse on the minor girl came to light after the girl told her mother that her private parts hurt while taking a bath. Based on the parent's complaint, the police started investigation in to the incident by arresting the accused teacher.
