Police arrested 20-year-old Feroj Sheikh of Nepalgunj sub-metropolitan city-20 of Banke district on July 22 on the charge of raping a 14-year-old girl by holding her hostage and trafficking her. According to the family of the victim, the accused kidnapped the girl on the afternoon of July 15 when she went to a computer center in Kanchanpur Municipality-8, and raped her by holding her hostage.  The police rescued the girl and arrested the accused with the help of the Indian police and have started investigation into the incident.
