ANNSFU (Revolutionary) stages a demonstration in Kathmandu demanding adjustment of petroleum product prices

ANNSFU (Revolutionary) affiliated to Netra Bikram Chand led Nepal Communist Party staged a demonstration in front of Nepal Oil Corporation in Kathmandu on August 4, demanding to adjust the prices of petroleum products. The demonstrators demanded to adjust the automatic price of petroleum products according to the system. Nepal Oil Corporation was unwilling to reduce the prices even though the prices were greatly reduced in the international market. The Oil Corporation said that even though the price from India decreased, as the corporation was still in loss, the price of petroleum products will not decrease immediately.
