Assistant Officers of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Lalitpur staged a sit-in at the Ministry of Finance on 8 Aug saying that the salaries of employees were increased unevenly and demanding an equal increase in the salaries of employees. They announced if their demands are not met, they will hold more intense program of agitation.
