32-year-old Pannalal Rauniyar of Rohini rural municipality-3 was arrested on August 14 from Butwal on the charge of gang-raping a 13-year-old teenage girl. Whereas another accused 19-year-old Banar Vuj absconded. The victim's mother lodged the complaint on August 11 alleging that two of the accused raped the victim on August 8, on the way back home after attending the festival organized by the Muslim community. The victim alleged that the accused threatened to not disclose the rape incident.
