Police arrested 25-year-old Bheem Tamang, 18-year-old Kismat Tamang, and 18-year-old Kaman Tamang of Meghang Rural Municipality-2 on August 16, on the charge of attempting to gang-rape a 26-year-old woman.

According to the police, the three accused attempted to rape the victim on August 15 in Meghang rural municipality-3, on the way back home when she was with her 3-year-old son. The victim alleged that the accused tried to murder his son by physically assaulting him and further they threatened to end their life. The victim and her son sustained injuries on their body and head. The child victim sustained serious injury on his backbone.
