An agricultural cooperative has been sealed in Bara for black-marketing government-subsidized chemical fertilizers based on the complaint of farmers. Kush Agricultural Co-operative located in Kalaiya sub-metropolitan city-23 Bhatauda has been sealed. A joint team of the district administration office and the district police office sealed and seized 209 sacks of 50 kg fertilizer kept in the cooperative. The team also arrested Arun Kushwaha, resident of Kalaiya sub-metropolitan city-23. The cooperative was found to be selling DAP fertilizers costing Rs 2,250 for Rs 2,850 without issuing bills. Urea is sold at 780 rupees and DAP at 2,230 rupees from the office of the agricultural material company in Kalaiya. The cooperative can sell only at the price set by the municipality
