22-year-old Gita Jaisi Shahi of Sannitribeni rural municipality-1 in Kalikot lodged a complaint of domestic violence against her husband on September 2. In the complaint, Gita stated that her husband Dan Bahadur Shahi physically assaulted her resulting in injury. The victim alleged that the accused physically assaulted her with a wooden stick on August 28 which resulted in her sustaining serious injuries on her private parts. The victim further added that she was time and again physically assaulted by the accused on the witchcraft allegation as well.
