A 12-year-old girl with an intellectual disability was raped by Rampati Dagaura a 52-year-old man of Laljhadi rural municipality-1 on September 2. The victim's family lodged a complaint on September 4 alleging that the accused threatened the victim and then raped her. The victim underwent a medical examination at Seti provincial hospital. CIWIN took refuge of the girl due to her frail mental condition following the incident. Meanwhile, INSEC provided financial support to the girl to undertake her legal battle upon CIWIN's request.
