Nabin Roka, a 36-year-old man from Ghorahi sub-metropolis-13 of Dang committed suicide on November 4, after strangling his 37-year-old wife Niru Roka to death. According to the police, on November 3, the accused went to Rapti health and science institute with Niru to check blood pressure. By the request of Niru, Nabin and she stayed in the house of her aunt in Ghorahi  sub-metropolis-15. They stayed in two different rooms. On the morning of November 4, Niru was found dead in her room while Nabin was also found dead hanging from a ceiling.  Police suspected that Nabin committed suicide after murdering Niru by strangling her.
