A complaint was lodged against Mo. Samir Khan a 25-year-old man of Godauta municipality-10 on the charge of physically assaulting his 23-year-old wife Saumul Khatul of Malangawa municipality-7  for not bringing an Indian Motorcycle and Rs. 50,000 as a dowry. Due to physical assault, Khatun sustained injuries on her left hand and she got three stitches on her left hand.  The father of the victim claimed that they gave the accused a dowry worth Rs. 1,25,000, gold, and other materials but the accused still assaulted the victim physically and psychologically.
