A complaint was lodged against Shivashankar Yadav a 19-year-old man of Tirhut rural municipality-5, on February 8, on the charge of raping a 14-year-old minor girl. According to the victim, the accused kept the victim hostage on May 28, 2022, for 4 days. According to the victim, the accused on the pretext of dropping the girl at her house abducted her and raped her. According to the Victim's mother, the accused threatened the victim by claiming that if she disclosed the rape to anyone she will be murdered by him. She further added that the accused requested to have a physical relationship with the accused again on January 10 and after then she disclosed the rape incident.
