BAMS-level internship doctors of Ayurveda Campus and Teaching Hospital Kirtipur who have been agitating since the past two weeks from February 13 demanding the opportunity to intern at the hospital mentioned in the syllabus for the prescribed time organized a press conference on March 3 to draw the attention of concerned stakeholders to their demand. The students padlocked the college on February 24 after the administration did not address their issue even after staging sit-in. The students lamented that the college had sent them to intern at campuses which did not meet the minimum requirement set by the Academy of Medical Sciences.
