Chintamani Poudel a ward chairperson of Urlabari municipality was physically assaulted and the ward office was padlocked by the pro-identity group protesting against the naming of Koshi province on March 28. The demonstration has turned aggressive since the death of a demonstrator named Padam Limbu. The protestors have been demanding to name Limbu a martyr.
