A complaint was lodged against 44-year-old Birsha Bahadur Singh ward chairperson of Chankheli rural municipality-2 on March 27 on the charge of physically assaulting Sanjita Pariyar a 25-year-old woman from Chankehli rural municipality-2 and hurling caste-based insults at her. The husband if the victim, who lodged the complaint, alleged that Singh who was under the influence of alcohol kicked her out of her own shop and tore her clothes as well meanwhile assaulting her.
